A majority of this experience will be in a resort town in the oceanfront hills adjacent to Rio de Janeiro, but travelers can also book add-ons for a Rio de Janeiro city experience and an experience in Salvador, Bahia, the cultural capital for Afro-Brazilians.

Búzios

The peninsula has 23 picturesque beaches. You are guaranteed to be surrounded by beautiful landscapes, which allows you to practice a wide variety of water sports, nautical sports, extreme sports, and wellness activities. Ecotourism is also quite popular in the region due to the clear waters and nature trails.

Rio de Janeiro

Situated on the Atlantic coast of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro is the country's second largest city and cultural capital. Rio is famous for its breathtaking landscape, a laid back beach culture, and the colorful and energetic annual carnival. Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the Christ The Redeemer  statue, the stadium of Maracanã, and Sugar Loaf Mountain are well-known landmarks that earn the city the nickname he "marvelous city".

 

The aforementioned landmarks and Carnaval celebrations are the first images to pop up in travelers' minds, but our tour takes it one step further. We incorporate all of the typical sights and sounds of Rio, while giving you an atypical Afro-Brazilian experience that emphasizes the culture and history of Black Rio.
